Just a Quick Question. Really.

Hi everybody, I don’t have time to write anything much on the days I work, but I wanted to ask if any of you have any experience at Sparkpeople.  It’s free, and looks surprisingly like the w.w. website.  Any opinions?

I am loving Curves.  I got off work a little early yesterday, so was able to stop at Curves on my way home.  I actually sweat when I do the workout (and I’m not a sweater.)  So I feel like I’m actually doing something worthwhile for my body on a day when I wouldn’t get much exercise in!

  1. I’ve been on Sparkpeople before and I liked it. There’s a lot you can do on there and lots of support and motivation too. I’ve always heard good things about it. =)

  2. I was on Sparkpeople a few years ago. It’s much more detailed on the nutritional info, of course, b/c WW is simply about points. Sparkpeople, if I remember correctly, breaks down the nutrition by protein, fats, carbs, sodium, etc. I *think* it was easy to use–I don’t remember any navigation problems. It can be overwhelming b/c there’s a lot there to work with. Just pick and choose what you need and leave the rest. Free=good!

    Great job on going to Curves. It’s funny, I used to not sweat at all. When I started running, I must have turned on my sweat engine b/c now I sweat a lot more.

    I have actually joined SparkPeople and I really like it. It is quite wholistic in the approach. The only thing I don’t like is the food log area. Too complex. The rest is a great tool!
