Random sad thought that passed through my brain as I contemplated which healthy snack option I wanted tonight:
I wish this food didn’t have calories.
I know. I’m tired. Go to bed, Debby.
Just by chance I opened up the fruit drawer for something else, and I remembered that I had decided earlier in the day that an asian pear would be a good after-work snack. So that’s what I had. Very filling. And doesn’t lead me to want to eat more.
Good night everyone.
**whispers** hope you are still snoozing and wake up refreshed with nary a sad thought in your head.
that’s one of my favorite thing about the days I have to get up at 4 am–finding a comment from Miz, who gets up even earlier than me.
and money grew on trees. . .
har har…I used to wish that sometimes too.
Nice pre-planning the fruit – good that it stayed in your sub-conscious long enough to remember to eat it. Yeah, wouldn’t it be great if we could pick one food to be calorie-free?
Actually, Shelley, I wanted them ALL to be calorie free LOL!
LOL. Better than to have eaten and then conveniently ‘forgetting’ to record the calories (guilty look here)
Asian pears are yummy! Hope getting a good night’s sleep helped, too. I wish nuts had no calories. At least they’re low carb and low saturated fat.
The way I eat walnuts, you’d think that I thought they were calorie freel. I LOVE walnuts!
LOL! I know what you mean. If you have to like a nut, walnut is definitely the way to go. I love them all, but have to say it’s a toss-up between almonds, pistachios, and pecans.
Geesh! My calorie free food would be chocolate or icecream! LOL!:)
How’s your Etsy store doing Debby? Do you have a link to it on your blog? I don’t see it, i was gonna visit. deb
