[Insert victorious ‘Rocky’ music here]
That’s right. After months of serious stick-carrying training on our daily walks, Noah has conquered the world champion of all sticks– a tree trunk. He’s been working on this one for a while. It was a small redwood tree that died, and I had taken it out of its container, root ball and all. As you can see, last night he finally whittled the root ball down to a manageable size (it was a 10 gallon root ball,) and was able to complete his training exercise this morning!
And then he took his victory lap around the yard with his tree trunk.
I wish I could have taken a video of him running full speed around the yard with his tree trunk–complete joy!
We’re off for another ‘practice session,’ walking, a little running, and of course, the prerequisite stick-carrying (only Noah participates in this part of the exercise.)
Victory!!! What a happy-go-lucky dog!!!
I could just picture the victory lap. Too funny.
If you could just get him to pull weeds LOL
Cracking me up!
